Welcome to the world of drums at the Drum Cartel. I am a drum lover and love to talk about drums all day long. Drums are musical instruments that have been around for a really long time. Drums are made of different materials depending on the region they are being made in. Drum skin ranges from something as exotic as goat skin to something as durable as steel or plastic. Most artists like to refer to their group of drums as a drum set.  There are several types of drums like round drums, conga drums, barrel drums, cup drums and so on. Each artist chooses the set of drums that they feel the most comfortable with.

Drum Repair

Like any musical instrument, drums also undergo their share of wear and tear. Each drum type has different issues if they need to be repaired. If you have a vintage drum, you will need to remove all the hoops, drumheads, lugs and tension rods and prep the drum. You can then insert glue into the crack and clamp it together to hold it stable. Our experts recommend placing waxing strips or butter paper between the clamps to avoid them from getting stuck to the drum due to the glue.  Similarly, each type of drum has to undergo a process to be repaired to be able to be played again. Our experts are here to guide you through this intricate process.

So roll up your sleeves and get ready to play some music!
